TheOrquestra Simfònica del Vallès presents a programme devoted to Latin American music featuring the violinist Marta Cardona, and with special guest singer Sílvia Pérez Cruz.

Carlos Gardel is a legend of Argentine tango and Atahualpa Yupanqui is a leading Argentine singer-songwriter famous for his folk songs.

Astor Piazzolla is known as the creator of New Tango. His music combines traditional elements with contemporary innovations.

This unique concert will bring together the classic Argentine tango of Gardel, the modern tango of Piazzolla and the folk music of Yupanqui brought to life by guest singer Silvia Pérez Cruz.

Thanks to her extraordinary vocal range, the singer from Empordà in Catalonia will take us on a journey of the music of Latin America, transitioning with ease from gentle, melodic sounds to moments of intensity and passion.
