There is no sense of epic without music; without a sense of epic, there can be no heroes and heroines, and therefore no cinema. So who is the first hero? The composer. The god of the wind that makes the film fly. Today, John Williams: hero among heroes. It goes without saying that without John Williams, sharks wouldn’t be scary, dinosaurs wouldn’t roam the Earth, no one would save entire worlds, aliens wouldn’t communicate with us and dark knights would govern the galaxies. His music has made cinematic dreams come true. The stuff of heroes.
The dubbing actor Salvador Vidal will narrate the script by Jordi Cos to link each piece. We’ll listen to some of the most celebrated scores in the history of film, accompanied by one of its best-known voices, thanks to his work dubbing actors such as Liam Nesson, Ed Harris, Mel Gibson, Sam Neil or Richard Dreyfuss, among others. This season, the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès will once again be putting the spotlight on the invisible actors of the film world: its music and the voice of the dubbing artist.
Musical show with narration in Spanish.
Film images will be shown that some viewers may find disturbing.
